How would I send my billing information to you?
You can send all necessary information to our office, either by standard mail, HIPAA compliant email, or fax.
How long is the setup process, and how often to I send the billing to you?
It can take up to 7-14 days, depending on the size of the practice to be fully set up.
You can send billing as often as you choose. We recommend daily or weekly.
Do you offer credentialing services?
Yes ! PBO works with a credentialing company that will help creating your in network status with insurance companies. This is an extra charge to your practice, between you and the credentialing company.
How do we report co pays and insurance payments to your office?
Patient payments, such as co pays, can be reported in the software system. Any insurance payments, or mailed patient payments, we would need a copy of the EOB or the patient payment. (if we do not receive it already electronically)
Do you obtain authorizations, and keep track of?
The provider's office staff, or provider is responsible for retrieving authorization. We can however keep track of how many visits were used.
How often do you mail patient statements?
We send patient statements every month.
If necessary, Can you refer patients to an outside Collection agency?
Yes. P B O works with an outside collection agency. Usually 3 statements are mailed, then a soft collection letter is mailed. This can be customized upon the provider request.
Is there a long term contract?
P B O works on a month to month basis.
